Cathryn Ng completed her Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia in 2007. She further undertook a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Laws (NSW) in 2008. Upon completion, she was subsequently admitted to practice as a barrister and solicitor at the Supreme Court of Australian Capital Territory in August 2008. This was followed with an admission by the Supreme Court of Western Australia in September 2008 and the High Court of Australia in November 2009.
She brings a wealth of expertise, experience and knowledge in the areas of criminal law, criminal property confiscation law and criminal injuries compensation. This is attributed to her being privileged of excellent mentoring from various Senior Counsels.
Throughout her tenure, she makes regular appearances at the State Administrative Tribunal, Administrative Appeals Tribunal, Federal Court of Australia, Magistrates Court of Western Australia, District Court of Western Australia, and Supreme Court of Western Australia.
In addition, she is multi-lingual and; proficient in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
