Charlie Young, Senior Associate, is a member of the Commercial Litigation Team and heads the firm’s Estate Litigation and Elder Abuse specialist practices.
With considerable experience in estate and trust disputes, Charlie has been equally successful in achieving positive outcomes in estate disputes for beneficiaries, executors/administrators and trustees, while at all times ensuring minimal loss to the estate.
Charlie’s role in estate litigation includes providing advice and, where necessary, representing clients in Court. He advises clients in family provision applications, constructive trust claims on estates, disputes about testamentary capacity of a testator, informal Wills, challenging probate and a wide range of other estate litigation issues.
Charlie has a breadth of experience in Elder Abuse Law, assisting friends and family of elderly people in order to put a halt to instances of, for example, financial abuse and medical neglect. His work includes seeking compensation against attorneys, appointing administrators and guardians, and pursuing individuals who take financial advantage of elderly persons.
