Kara is a member of the panel of Independent Children’s Lawyers in Queensland and is routinely appointed to represent the interests of children in parenting proceedings in the Family Court and Federal Circuit Court. Kara has been recognised for a number of years as a leading Queensland Family Law Practitioner by the Doyle’s Review of Australian Lawyers, and in 2015 was named as the only female Preeminent Family Lawyer in the Toowoomba and Darling Downs region. Kara was also nominated as a Finalist in the Lawyers Weekly Family Law Partner of the Year Awards in 2016.
