Karen Hardy is a family law specialist accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales, she obtained her accreditation in 2009 after having practiced in family law since her admission in 2002.
Karen is experienced in all aspects of family law including property matters (both complex and straightforward), Binding Financial Agreements (including pre-nuptial agreements), parenting matters, Child Support, Divorce, Spouse Maintenance and Relocation matters. Karen has also assisted third parties involved and caught up in Family Law disputes.
Karen is passionate about assisting her clients through the difficult transition of separation and family breakdowns, with empathy and understanding.
Karen is collaboratively trained and wherever appropriate, she encourages the use of alternate dispute resolution practices, including mediation, collaboration, and settlement conferences. Karen encourages negotiated resolution where possible and is committed to achieving a commercial outcome for all her clients.
Karen graduated with First Class Honours from the University of Technology Sydney in 2002 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in the same year. Karen is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.
Karen joined Pearson Emerson Meyer in 2016 and forms part of a team of dedicated Family Lawyers who are experienced in all facets of family law.
Karen is a member of Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc. and the Law Society of NSW.
