Mark (BA LLB Hons, University of Melbourne) is the Director of MDC Legal and has over 15 years practice in industrial, workplace and employment law. He was also associate to the former Chief Justice of WA, the Hon David Malcolm AC, QC in 1999 and 2000. Having worked in a commercial litigation firm, then as a senior associate of a national law firm, and as the former Principal Solicitor of the Employment Law Centre, WA, Mark is a well-regarded practitioner in workplace relations law, named as a “leading lawyer” in Doyle’s Guide 2014 and 2015. Mark has conducted litigation and acted as counsel in several jurisdictions in a wide variety of matters, including injunctions and restraint of trade matters, general protections and contract claims, unfair dismissal, bullying and discrimination claims.. Mark has extensive expertise assisting business put in place contracts, workplace policies and procedures, investigations, audits, compliance and regulation, and is also a regular presenter of CPD seminar and masterclasses to HR and legal practitioners.
