Mark completed degrees in International Relations and Bachelor of Laws at La Trobe University in 2009.
He began working at Matthew White and Associates in 2009 and completed his practical legal training in 2010. Since then he has practised exclusively in criminal law. Mark has worked in indictable crime since completing his legal training. He has worked within the management of the Sexual Offences Team of Victoria Legal Aid. He has run numerous trials as an instructing Solicitor in the Supreme and County Courts of Victoria including but not limited to homicide cases, armed robbery, serious assaults, rape, and serious sexual offences.
He has also worked on Serious Sex Offender Supervision applications opposed to the Attorney General’s Department. Mark has extensive experience in advocacy and appearance work in Victoria. He regularly appears in contested matters and pleas in the Magistrates Court, and pleas and appeals in the County Court. Mark is motivated by a strong sense of social justice and commitment to the rights of his clients.
In his spare time he is a keen sportsman, an average but determined footballer and golfer. He is also an intrepid traveller and speaks fluent Spanish having lived in Mexico, as well as Germany and Hungary.
