Mike Roberts is one of the two founding partners of Vardanega Roberts. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1983 and has practiced in insurance work since 1983. Mike has undertaken a range of personal injury claims including catastrophic personal injury claims as well as currently defending personal injury public liability and product liability claims. Mike has managed a substantial range of property claims, including building and construction and major motor property claims and subrogated recoveries. He has had great success in recovery initiatives for seven major insurers. Mike has also handled major fraud claims and Accident and Health matters. He has a special interest and insight into in IT, cyber attack and data protection claims and EP liability policy advice and Privacy. Mike has strong communication skills presenting to clients on the following topics:

  • Lectured at UTS in Certificate IV course on claims management (2009)

Mike has a particular interest in programming and software development, designing IS system for legal practices (he designed our CALS, NELDB and ESI systems) and cost effective, client-focused risk shared subrogated recovery programs for insurers.
