Peter Baltins began his law career in general practice in 1981 becoming a partner at Willis & Bowring in 1992. Since that time Peter has focussed on the areas of Probate & Deceased Estates administration and litigation and is now a Law Society Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates. Due to Peter’s expertise in this area he was invited to join the NSW Law Society’s Committee on Elder Law & Succession Law. He receives numerous referrals in this area from other lawyers.
Peter is also interested to adopt quicker and cheaper alternate dispute resolution techniques for the benefit of his clients, and his interest in this area has led him to qualify as a Mediator.
As a graduate of the Quality in Law course on total quality management, Peter understands the need for efficient systems and procedures in the delivery of legal services. Peter is a member of Best Practice Lawyers and regularly introduces improvements to the practice gained by the open sharing of ideas by this network of solicitors dedicated to a process of continuous improvement.
Peter is a panel solicitor for the NSW Trustee & Guardian (formerly known as the Public Trustee of NSW). However, Peter is free to take on cases against that organisation.
In 2017, Peter was admitted as a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners due to his accreditation as a specialist and his extensive experience in the fields of estate administration and litigation.”
