In terms of growth within the role and the business Tanya comments,
Sadly within Australia, as more and more couples are separating, family law matters are more common. I would like to continue to work in the area of family law because I think I can make a positive contribution and help people work through the legal issues involved when a relationship breaks down and move on with their lives.Often family law matters are very stressful and full of emotion for clients, Tanya feels a sense of satisfaction when she can work with a client and assist them in bringing what can be a very difficult time in their lives to a final resolution on terms that everyone can live with.
It is difficult to see my clients going through pain and stress as a result of a relationship breakdown. This is particularly the case when children are involved.
When Tanya is not in the office she enjoys spending time with family. Her children are very active in sports and other activities keeping Tanya and her husband very busy. They have a boat and enjoy skiing and spending time on the water. Her parents still live on a rural property so their children are very lucky to be able to also spend time at the farm riding horses and motor bikes.
