Tenny completed his Bachelor of Laws and Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University in 2006 and 2007 respectively. Towards the end of his bachelor degree, Tenny undertook an internship with Queensland Public Interest Law Clearing House and finished first in his class.
In 2007, Tenny completed his GDLP by completing his placement position with Joseph Chan Solicitors, where he gained experience in Immigration and Administrative law.
Tenny was admitted as solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2007 and was admitted in Queensland in 2008.
Tenny commenced his employment at Littles Lawyers, formerly P.J.Little & Associates, in late 2007 and has practiced primarily in civil litigation. In 2009, Tenny has also successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice from Griffith University.
Tenny also maintains a close reciprocating relationship with various Korean governmental agencies and their key personnel, including the Korean Consulate in Sydney, the Ministry of Justice and the members of the Supreme Court of Korea. Apart from these, Tenny has also established a broad networking relationship with the Korean Government Legal Services as well as top-tier law firms in Korea.
