Travis Fewster is a Senior Associate and Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Personal Injury Specialist working at Maurice Blackburn in Frankston, specialising in WorkCover compensation claims. He deals with a wide range of personal injury matters for injured workers throughout the Mornington Peninsula, and also liaises with doctors and unions.
Travis has eight years’ experience in the practise of personal injury law; dealing with TAC, WorkCover, public liability and medical negligence matters. He has extensive experience litigating matters on behalf of injured workers in the Magistrates Court, County Court, VCAT and the Supreme Court, and is recognised by the prestigious Doyles Guide as a recommended work injury compensation lawyer.
Travis was a tradesman before starting his career in law, so he has first-hand experience and understanding of the critical importance of workers' rights and entitlements. No potential entitlement for an injured worker is too small to pursue because Travis considers all workers should be rigorously represented in order to obtain their full and fair entitlements.
“I care about injured people. I’m passionate about ensuring that they get all their entitlements and I work hard to achieve the best possible result for my clients every time,” says Travis.
This earlier career also gives Travis excellent insight and perspective when considering the total impact that an injury has – not only the worker – but also on their family. Travis understands that recovering from workplace injury is about more than compensation and he ensures his clients have every possible level of support.
