Karen Hardy is an accredited family law specialist, she obtained her accreditation in 2009 after having practiced in family law since her admission in 2002.
Karen is experienced in all aspects of family law including all levels of property matters, Binding Financial Agreements (including pre-nuptial agreements), parenting matters, Child Support, Divorce, Spouse Maintenance and Relocation matters. Karen has also regularly assists third parties who find themselves involved in Family Law disputes.
Karen is passionate about assisting her clients through the difficult transition of separation and family breakdowns, with empathy and understanding.
Karen is collaboratively trained and wherever appropriate, she encourages the use of alternate dispute resolution practices, including mediation, collaboration, and settlement conferences. Karen encourages negotiated resolution and is committed to achieving a commercial outcome for her clients.
Karen is admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and is on the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia.
Karen is a board member of Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc., and is a member of Central Sydney Collaborative Forum, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and of the Law Society of NSW.
Karen joined Pearson Emerson Meyer in 2016 and forms part of a team of dedicated Family Lawyers who are experienced in all facets of family law.
