Thomas is Special Counsel at Shine Lawyers and is an experienced personal injury lawyer with expertise in workers compensation, public liability and abuse law claims.
Thomas has a deep insight and understanding of compensation law with over 13 years’ experience litigating matters all across Australia. Thomas has represented survivors of sexual abuse in claims against government institutions, schools, sporting clubs and churches; focused on advocating for his clients and achieving the outcomes that are most important to them.
Prior to joining the Shine team, Thomas worked at a small boutique law firm where he specialised in abuse law, and earlier in his career was a Prosecutor with the Northern Territory Director of Public Prosecutions and a Solicitor at Legal Aid ACT.
Outside of work, Thomas is involved in his local community through school community events and has previously volunteered as a member of the Northern Territory Football League Tribunal.
