Antonious commenced studying his Bachelor of Laws degree at James Cook University in Townsville, transferring to Queensland University of Technology and graduating in 2005. In late 2005, he was admitted after completing a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at QUT.

In March 2007, Antonious commenced work in Rockhampton where he successfully completed the Practice Management Course in 2008 before moving to the Gold Coast to run a boutique family law practice until August 2012. He subsequently branched into criminal law where he became a Senior Associate at a local firm. Antonious joined Moloney MacCallum Lawyers in February 2015 and brings a wealth of experience in Family Law. Antonious was made Legal Practice Director of Moloney MacCallum Lawyers in July 2015.

Antonious has experience in attending both State and Commonwealth Courts Jurisdictions. He is also a qualified Justice of the Peace, qualified Legal Aid Criminal Lawyer, qualified Legal Aid Domestic Violence Duty Lawyer and a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association (FLPA).

Antonious has practised exclusively in Family law (both matrimonial and de facto matters) in Queensland for the past 8 years and in Criminal law since 2012. He brings with him a reputation as a powerful advocate for all his client’s rights and entitlements. Through private negotiation or recourse to the Courts, he consistently achieves excellent outcomes for all his clients – both private and legal aid.

Antonious’ ability to speak Arabic also assists clients where English is their second language.

Antonious has represented a number of clients in both Criminal and Family law matters both in Court and attendance at disciplinary hearings. In addition he has successfully defended charges in all criminal jurisdictions including offences such as robberies, assaults, sex offences, frauds, trafficking/supplying/possessing dangerous drugs, Commonwealth/Federal offences, Appeal applications and a variety of minor offences.
