Conor is a former vice president of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV). He was awarded the LIV Certificate of Service Award in 2013 as an acknowledgment of his outstanding contributions in the field of criminal law. He has been an accredited criminal law specialist for more than a decade and has more than 20 years experience as a lawyer. Conor is a founding partner of Doogue O'Brien George Defence Lawyers. His work involved defending people and representing witnesses before the IBAC and Royal Commissions. Conor continues to act in behalf of criminal defendants in both pleas and contested hearings in all Victorian courts.
