Genevieve has been a plaintiff lawyer since her admission to the Supreme Court of NSW in 1991 and has extensive experience dealing with complex, factual and legal issues.
As a state practice group leader with the firm, she is at the centre of management of the compensation claims practices in NSW/ACT and an integral part of the Executive team which supports the CEO and General Managers.
While still taking on individual cases, Genevieve performs an instrumental role in developing and delivering on the practice group’s strategic agenda and imperatives which are aimed at maximising potential and meeting the firm’s overarching business objectives.
With the firm’s growth over recent years, Genevieve has been responsible for establishing efficiency and reform strategies for her group to ensure individuals and teams continue to realise their potential.
Genevieve’s advocacy for her clients and social justice extends beyond individual cases. She has dedicated a great deal of her time offering her legal expertise to help shape government policy and drive legislative reform that will preserve the rights for people seeking legal services.
As a recognised leader within the firm, she has also sought out other meaningful ways to advocate on behalf of her clients. She has forged several strong relationships with key non-profit organisations that, as a result, have unlocked many mutually beneficial business development opportunities.
Genevieve takes great pride in leading a high performing team and hopes that through her leadership, staff are inspired to continually push the envelope in seeking justice for their clients.
