Georgia Seaton was admitted as a solicitor in 1985, having been an Associate to two Supreme Court Judges after graduating from Macquarie University in 1982.
Georgia is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law, an Accredited Mediator and she has training in Collaborative Practice.
Georgia has had a wide range of experience practising law: she practised as a solicitor between 1985 and 1990; she has been a lecturer and tutor at the University of Newcastle Law School and the University of Newcastle Legal Centre, and a Deputy Registrar and Registrar at the Family Court of Australia in Newcastle from 2002 to 2006 where she gained extensive experience mediating family law matters.
Georgia re-entered private practice in 2006 and has practised almost exclusively in family law since that time.
Georgia is the President of the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association.
