Jessica was admitted to practice in 2012 and has practiced exclusively in family law since that time. Before her admission, Jessica worked for a number of years as paralegal in family law and so has a broad base of knowledge and experience over wide-ranging family law issues. Jessica is a pragmatic solicitor. She believes that in family law the best outcomes are achieved when clients are provided with solid, sensible advice tailored to their particular circumstances. She focuses on achievable outcomes. Jessica brings strong advocacy on behalf of her clients and seeks to maximise opportunities to a reach a resolution. Jessica has experience appearing in both the Federal Circuit Court of Australia and the Family Court of Australia and enjoys representing clients in all areas of family law including property, children, and divorce matters. Jessica has a particular interest in complex parenting and relocation matters. Jessica has a keen interest in promoting community access to legal services. She has previously been a volunteer at the ACT Women’s Legal Centre from 2012 to 2017 and is also a member of Marymead’s Nexgen Board. Jessica in currently a panel member of the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission.
