Justin is the Director of Craven Lawyers and has practised criminal law in Queensland for over 10 years.
Justin completed Articles of Clerkship at Macrossan and Amiet Solicitors in Mackay where he gained experience in a variety of different areas of law, including criminal law. Upon his admission to the Supreme Court of Queensland as a Legal Practitioner, he commenced working in the Brisbane office at the Queensland Director of Public Prosecutions. While working at the DPP Justin undertook the Queensland Bar Course to enhance his advocacy skills and to qualify as a barrister.
The extensive experience Justin gained while working at the DPP places him in a unique position when advising and representing clients in the courtroom. While at the DPP Justin gained valuable knowledge in relation to how prosecution cases are prepared and uses this knowledge when representing clients. His prior experience allows him to quickly identify and exploit weaknesses in the prosecution’s case. Justin appeared for the DPP in the Magistrates, Childrens, District and Supreme Courts for a variety of criminal cases and hearings.
After 8 years of prosecuting at the DPP, Justin commenced working as a barrister defending the people of South East Queensland. While working as a barrister Justin represented clients in the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Magistrates, District and Supreme Courts of Queensland
Justin is now the Director of Craven Lawyers and he defends clients throughout South-East Queensland who have been accused of a wide of variety of criminal offences, including: –

- Sex matters.
- Assaults and Violent Offences.
- Property offences.
Justin aims to achieve the best possible outcome for his clients and ensures his clients fully understand their options.
