Mairi Kerfoot, MK Family Law

Doyles Guide

Starting my career as a legal clerk in 1997 I was admitted as a solicitor in the United Kingdom in 2005 and after migrating to Australia in 2007 was admitted as a solicitor here in 2010. I have worked predominantly in family law and believe people have the right to be represented with honesty, respect and integrity. My strong desire to be fair plus empathetic to my client’s needs continue to drive my work ethic and now my practice MK Family Law.

The following comment from a recent client sums up what I deliver perfectly, “From our initial meeting, I felt confident and relaxed with Mairi, she fully explained the process, put my mind to rest and clearly outlined the costs associated with the settlement. True to her word there were no hidden costs or surprises in terms of the settlement outcome.”

Quality legal representation does not need to be confusing or costly, it just needs to be right. As principal and founder of this business I believe people should feel that they are receiving the right advice from the professional they engage to represent them in family law matters even if the advice may not be favourable to their situation. Being honest, fair, supportive and truthful are the essence of this firm which is evident in all communication touch-points from face-to-face to phone conversations and email communications. I am passionate about family law and the difference I can make.
