Mandy is a Senior Associate of Edwards Family Lawyers and has been with the Firm since its inception.

Mandy was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 2010.

Mandy practices exclusively in the area of Family Law. Prior to being admitted as a Solicitor, Mandy worked for 6 years as a legal secretary and paralegal with Frances in a specialist Family Law Firm in the Sydney CBD.

Mandy is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.

Mandy is committed to assisting her clients reach agreement on all aspects of their Family Law dispute with an emphasis on negotiation. Mandy will guide her clients towards resolution and explore all possibilities to settle before invoking the Court process. Mandy’s attention to detail and knowledge of the law enables her to give her clients expert advice and representation in all aspects of Family Law associated with separation and divorce, de facto or same-sex relationships, including property settlement, spouse maintenance, child support, and all types of parenting matters.

Mandy’s calm and considered manner enables her to assist clients who can often be distressed and anxious after a separation. Mandy’s straightforward and pragmatic approach is well appreciated by her clients.

Mandy has acted in matters including family violence issues, child recovery, high net worth property matters with complex Family Law matters involving Trusts, Corporate Entities, self-managed superannuation funds, and overseas assets.

Mandy has expertise in matters involving overseas pension schemes, particularly in the United Kingdom. Mandy has successfully had Pension Sharing Orders made in the United Kingdom splitting one party’s pension entitlements between the husband and wife following the parties’ agreement to do so and recorded in the Australian Family Court by consent.
