Paul Lewis is a Solicitor and a nationally accredited Mediator with degrees in Psychology and Law. He was admitted as a solicitor in 1990 and started mediating with the Community Justice Centres over 20 years ago. Paul is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and in Dispute Resolution. Paul is one of the two principals of Sexton Family Law, an incorporated legal practice at Kirribilli, which practises exclusively in family law. For many years Paul has been a company director on the board of Interrelate and an Editorial Consultant for the Australasian Dispute Resolution Journal. Paul sits on 3 committees of the Law Society of NSW: Family Issues, Dispute Resolution and the Dispute Resolution Advisory Committee for the Specialist Accreditation Scheme. Paul has acted in the role of Independent Children’s Lawyer for about 8 years. Sexton Family Law has more than 10 years’ experience advising early childhood providers of their rights and responsibilities towards children and their parents when family law intersects with their care and education of children.
