Robyn Richardson has worked exclusively in criminal law since being admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2008. Robyn has worked for the New South Wales Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions as well as leading criminal defence firms in Sydney. Robyn also had the unique opportunity to intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia.
Robyn uses her broad criminal law experience and insight to represent the best interests of her clients including those charged with the most serious criminal offences. Robyn will use her astute criminal law acumen to negotiate with the prosecution or unearth exculpatory evidence (technical or otherwise) that has been overlooked by others.
Robyn is a highly effective Criminal Defence Lawyer and is able to appear as an advocate in the Local Court, District Court, New South Wales Crime Commission, the Australian Crime Commission, the Independent Commission Against Corruption and the State Parole Authority. Robyn is also experienced in instructing Counsel in complex trials and in Supreme Court Appeals.
Robyn is passionately committed to defending the rights of her clients and has a particular interest in traffic law and using her skills as a Criminal Defence Lawyer to overcome the unjust mandatory sentencing laws in New South Wales that apply in traffic matters.
