Sharon Auburn, Robertson Hayles

Doyles Guide

Sharon is an exceptional family and criminal lawyer who believes in giving her absolute best to her clients. She has more than 20 years of legal experience and has conducted countless hearings in the family and criminal courts. The stresses and challenges in litigation has not dented Sharon’s enthusiasm. On the contrary, she thrives on the challenges in front of her.

With her long years of experience, Sharon has the wisdom and the skills to guide her clients through complex and difficult cases, to recognise the family and emotional factors that impact on a case and to advise whether it is best to mediate and reach agreement with dignity or to take the case to a full hearing to reach a resolution.

In family law, Sharon undertakes all types of disputes including property settlements, children issues, spousal maintenance, child support, violence restraining orders and applications for exclusive possession of the matrimonial home. She also prepares and advises on binding financial agreements.

In criminal law, Sharon has defended accused persons in all types of charges and also handles bail and spent conviction applications.

Sharon’s father was a law academic and her mother, a doctor. They believed strongly in a lifelong commitment to learning and in treating people with compassion and generosity. Sharon has imbued the same values in her own life. She is always challenging herself to learn more, to seek alternative avenues to further her client’s interest and at the same time she conducts her clients’ cases with fairness, sensitivity and respect.

Sharon is a member of The Criminal Lawyers’ Association of Western Australia, the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Western Australia and the Law Society of Western Australia.
