Wendy Kayler-Thomson is a partner of Forte Family Lawyers and has practised exclusively in family law since 1993.
Wendy is an Accredited Family Law Specialist. In addition to a Bachelor degree in Law, Wendy has a Bachelor degree in Commerce. She also holds a Masters degree in Law, specialising in aspects of family law.
Wendy has completed training in mediation and collaborative law.
Wendy is the Deputy Chair and elected representative of Victorian solicitors on the Executive committee of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, the peak representative body for family lawyers in Australia. In that role she has been actively involved in many of the Executive’s activities including the development of the Essentials of Family Law Practice training program for new family lawyers, submissions to the Commonwealth Government on changes to family law and regular meetings with representatives of the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s department and the Courts.
Wendy is also a member of the Executive Committee of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria.
Wendy regularly presents at conferences and seminars on a variety of family law topics.
