William Boyce, Boyce Family Law

William is a family law specialist accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales. He practises in all areas of family law and related matters.

Prior to commencing his legal career, William worked in the community health and services field. He also has professional experience and a special interest in the areas of child protection and welfare.

William initially trained and was admitted to practise law at Allens Linklaters.

Since that time he has had extensive experience practising in the areas of family law, corporate and commercial law and employment and industrial relations law, including in Hong Kong as Registered Foreign Lawyer with a major global UK firm.

William draws on his diverse professional and legal experience to assist his clients in all aspects of their family law and related matters. In particular, his commercial law background and experience enables him to proficiently manage all aspects of his clients’ family law financial matters, including in relation to their complex assets and financial structures.

William has a particular interest in family law matters that have an international element, including disputes involving parenting and substantial financial issues. William regularly advises and acts for foreign nationals and Australian expats in relation to their international family law matters and disputes that have a connection with Australia.

William also works closely with Robert Minter to provide advice and representation on estate planning and asset protection matters, including in relation to the preparation of trusts and other structures involving complex and substantial assets and business interests located in Australia and overseas. Between them, William and Robert have over 50 years’ experience providing first tier legal services.

William is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the New South Wales College of Law where he most recently taught litigation to postgraduate students and legal professionals.
