Hon Peter Tree KC

After graduating in 1988, Peter commenced at the bar, taking silk in 2004. He had a very broad practice at both first instance and appellate levels.

He was appointed a judge of the then Family Court in 2013, and later of judge of that court’s appeal division in 2019. In 2024 he was made an acting judge of the Family Court of Western Australia, which commission expired at the end of the year, since when he has returned to the bar.

Peter is available to undertake work nationally, focusing on mediation and arbitration, but also providing advice within areas of expertise.
