Brittany White, Fuller & White
Brittany has over fourteen years of experience in the legal industry and brings strong advocacy skills and a love of criminal law to Fuller & White Solicitors.
She commenced her legal career as a Paralegal at the Canberra Office of the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions (CDPP) and later went on to work at both their Sydney and Brisbane Offices. As a result of this, Brittany has gained experience working in multiple Australian jurisdictions and has extensive knowledge of criminal practice and procedure in the Commonwealth, ACT, NSW and Queensland jurisdictions. After being admitted as a solicitor, Brittany worked as a criminal prosecutions lawyer for the Queensland State Government in relation to a variety of offences administered by the Department in the Queensland jurisdiction relating to a broad range of areas and inclusive of Transport and Main Roads matters.
Brittany moved into criminal defence in 2012 and has been working as a criminal defence lawyer ever since. With her criminal prosecutions knowledge and experience, Brittany has a unique insight into the inside operations of prosecuting authorities and how they consider, prepare and prosecute criminal offences. This enables her to better operate and strategise as a defence solicitor with Fuller & White Solicitors.
Brittany is experienced in dealing with matters in the Magistrates, District and Supreme Court jurisdictions and is experienced in representing clients in relation to a range of charges including murder and homicide offences, drug matters, theft, fraud, robbery, break-and-enter and sexual and assault-related offences. Brittany has particular expertise in relation to drink-driving and other traffic offences and is aware of the devastating consequences not having a licence can have on individuals and their families. This insight, together with her previous Transport and Main Roads prosecutions experience, makes her particularly well-equipped in dealing with traffic offences and assisting her clients in retaining their drivers licence whenever possible.
Outside of work hours, Brittany also regularly volunteers for the Bayside Community Legal Centre, providing legal advice to underprivileged people who may not easily have access to private legal representation.
