Annmarie Farrell is an Accredited Family Law Specialist who has developed a reputation as a trusted and respected family lawyer. Originally from New Zealand, she was admitted to practice in Victoria in 2001, she became an Accredited Family Law Specialist in 2011 and established Farrell Family Lawyers in 2014. She aims to provide her clients with a high level of personalised service and prides herself on working with them to find tailored solutions that fit their particular needs and goals.
Through her calm, thoughtful approach Annmarie develops a rapport with her clients that assists her to work collaboratively with them. She provides them with advice, options and strategies in clear and simple language so that her clients can make informed decisions about their family law matter. She also works with other experts such as valuers, psychologists and accountants to help reach the best possible outcome for her clients.
Annmarie is a proponent of mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods to assist her clients to resolve their matters without the need for litigation where possible. She prides herself on being able to reach pragmatic and commercial outcomes on behalf of her clients. Where litigation is necessary however, she is an experienced advocate.
Annmarie has a high level of expertise in representing clients in complex property cases involving self-managed superannuation funds, businesses and trusts. She is also highly experienced in representing clients in complex children’s matters. She has a special interest in international relocation matters and has successfully represented many clients wishing to relocate overseas.
