Rankings Submission Form (All Practice Areas), 2027

Doyles Guide

Rankings Submission

For law firms, individual practitioners and barristers seeking consideration in the Doyle's Guide rankings in any practice area. Please complete one submission per practice area and jurisdiction. Matters listed must be capable of public reference; referee details are used for research verification only and are never published.

Submissions are entirely voluntary

Making a submission is not required for inclusion in the Doyle's Guide rankings, and firms and practitioners are considered whether or not they submit. A submission may assist our research, helping our editorial team understand your practice, guiding further enquiries and informing our assessment of positioning within the rankings, but it is not determinative of any outcome. Making a submission does not guarantee inclusion in any ranking.

Before you begin
  • Submission deadlines vary by practice area and jurisdiction — see the published rankings schedule, or select your practice area and jurisdiction below to see the deadlines that apply. Material received after the deadline for your ranking may not be considered in that year's research.
  • Key matters must relate to work undertaken within the last 12 months only. Older matters will be disregarded.
  • Doyle's Guide does not accept confidential matters in this form. Every key matter listed must be capable of being referenced publicly, and you will be asked to confirm this for each matter. Please do not include any matter you are unable to disclose.
  • Please provide at least 3 (up to 10) referees — referrers of work such as general counsel and in-house counsel, referring law firms (including firms in other jurisdictions), barristers, accountants, bankers and other referring professionals, rather than an individual client who has instructed on one particular matter. Referees may be contacted as part of the research process and are never published.
  • Family Law has its own submission form — please use the Family Law submission form.
1. Applicant Details
2. Practice Area & Jurisdiction

Select the practice area and jurisdiction in which you are seeking consideration. One submission covers one practice area in one jurisdiction — use "Save & Continue Later" and start another submission for each additional area or jurisdiction. Once both are selected, the rankings in that area and jurisdiction and their submission deadlines are shown below.

3. Key Practice Indicators

Numbers should reflect this practice area in the nominated jurisdiction, not the firm as a whole (except where indicated).

Describe the practice: focus, client base, market position, panel appointments and any recent growth.

Clients you are able to name publicly. Confidential client relationships should not be listed.

Lateral hires, promotions and departures in this practice area over the last 12 months.

4. Key Matters — Last 12 Months Only

List the key matters the practice has acted on in the last 12 months (max 25). Matters completed or substantially progressed outside that window will be disregarded. Only matters that may be referenced publicly can be included — please tick the confirmation on each matter.

5. Key Individuals for Ranking

List the practitioners you wish to put forward for individual consideration in this practice area (max 30). Include each person's seniority, focus and standing — this is the information our researchers rank on. Individual practitioners and barristers should list themselves here.

6. Full Practice Team & Contact Points

Please list ALL partners in this practice area together with counsel, special counsel, consultants and senior associates (max 150). These contact points are used for research verification and peer surveys and are not published. Larger teams can paste a list below instead of adding rows one at a time.

7. Referee Details

Provide up to 10 referees who can speak to the work described in this submission (minimum 3). Referees should be referrers of work — general counsel and in-house counsel, referring law firms (including firms in other jurisdictions), barristers, accountants, bankers and other referring professionals, or sources of repeat business — not an individual client who has instructed on one particular matter. Referees are used for research verification only and are never published or shown to other firms.
