Aashini Patel, Tom & Co Legal

Aashini Patel is an Associate at Tom & Co Legal, practising in family law, criminal law, guardianship and administration matters before the State Administrative Tribunal, and contested estate litigation, including family provision claims.

Most of her clients come to her at a hard point: a separation, a criminal charge, a dispute over a deceased estate, or a decision about a relative who can no longer manage their own affairs. Aashini is practical, explains people’s options in plain terms, and is straightforward to deal with. She speaks English, Gujarati and Hindi, and acts for clients from across Perth’s many communities.

Aashini was admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2023 and to the High Court of Australia in 2025, and has practised in Western Australia since 2024. She sits on the Elder Law and Succession Committee of the Law Society of Western Australia.
