Adele Anthony is a heart-centred estate planning lawyer with a deep commitment to providing personalised and empathetic estate planning services to her clients. She has been practicing law for nearly a decade, worked in the legal industry since 1982, and offers her clients not just legal expertise but a compassionate approach that truly understands their needs and concerns.
Adele's journey into law began as a mature-aged student after years of experience in the legal industry and successfully owning two successful non-legal businesses. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (1st Class Honours) and Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degrees from Griffith University on the Gold Coast, followed by a Master of Laws (Wills & Estates) from The College of Law. Adele also holds a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the Australian National University.
Starting her career in small country generalist firms in Southeast Gippsland, Adele quickly rose to senior roles in the law, before establishing her boutique estate planning practice in Toowoomba, Queensland during the height of the Covid 19 pandemic. Her practice reflects her core values—offering clients a supportive and flexible environment, with meetings scheduled at times and places that suit them, including outside the traditional 9 to 5.
Adele offers her clients comprehensive estate planning services and loves creating tailored solutions for business owners and individuals with complex family situations. Her practice is known for its focus on holistic, well-considered estate plans that go beyond the basics, ensuring that every aspect of her clients’ wishes and needs are addressed.
Through her boutique practice, Adele has become a thought leader in estate planning, frequently speaking at over 50s resorts, aged care facilities, and contributing to publications like WFO Magazine. Her law practice is also a finalist in the Lawyer’s Weekly Australian Law Awards 2024 for the Regional/Suburban Lawyer of the Year.
Adele’s clients appreciate her heart-centred approach, knowing that they are receiving expert advice from someone who genuinely cares about their peace of mind and the legacy they leave behind.
