Andrea Tomic, Eckert Legal

I am the founder and principal solicitor of Eckert Legal, a family law practice based in Blacktown serving clients across Western Sydney, from Penrith through to Parramatta. Admitted as a lawyer by the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2012, I have spent my career working across both community legal centres and private practice, building a depth of experience with families navigating separation, parenting disputes and property settlement, including in high-conflict and culturally diverse circumstances.
My approach is shaped by the belief that family law should give people certainty, not more uncertainty, at a time when they already have enough of it. I work to resolve matters through negotiation or mediation wherever that’s genuinely achievable, and take matters to court when litigation is necessary. I appear regularly before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and I am well known in the local family law community among registrars, magistrates, counsel and colleagues.

Clients often come to me after a relationship has ended and families are in transition. My commitment is to provide certainty for those going through separation, ensuring they can confidently move forward.
