Chloe Malic is a Senior Associate in the Family Law team at Southern Waters Legal, practising exclusively in Family Law. She advises clients across a broad range of matters, including parenting, property settlements, child support, divorce and Binding Financial Agreements.
Chloe takes a practical, empathetic and resolution-focused approach to Family Law. She is committed to helping clients understand their options and develop strategies tailored to their individual circumstances, with a focus on resolving matters efficiently and minimising unnecessary conflict and legal costs wherever possible.
Trained in Collaborative Family Law, Chloe is able to assist clients seeking alternatives to traditional litigation and is committed to exploring appropriate pathways to resolution. Her approach and professional relationships have also resulted in referrals from former clients, mediators and other legal professionals.
Chloe graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Finance with Distinction. She also holds a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
Within Southern Waters Legal, Chloe contributes to the development of junior lawyers by providing guidance on Family Law concepts, strategy, Court processes and file management. She also contributes to the firm’s pro bono legal work with The Family Co., providing free initial legal consultations to women experiencing domestic and family violence.
Chloe is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. She is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the St George Sutherland Local Law Society.
