Connie Ung, Robbins Watson
Connie is a Partner at Robbins Watson and leads the firm’s Wills and Estates team. She practises exclusively in succession law, advising on estate planning, deceased estate administration, estate disputes and the tax issues that arise from them.
Much of her estate planning work involves complex structures such as testamentary trusts, companies, discretionary trusts, self-managed superannuation funds and business interests. She enjoys helping families protect their assets and ensuring their wealth passes in line with their wishes, both now and for future generations.
Connie has a strong working knowledge of the tax consequences of estate planning and estate administration. She advises on appropriate strategies, so clients understand the tax implications of each step before they put their estate plan in place. Few succession lawyers advise on tax in this depth, and it adds real value to the advice Connie gives.
Connie also acts for executors and beneficiaries in difficult estate administrations and in disputes over Wills and deceased estates. She regularly handles matters with assets and beneficiaries in both Queensland and New South Wales.
