David Laschko is the Principal of David Laschko Criminal Lawyer. He is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law and has over 25 years of experience practicing exclusively in this area.
After graduating from Monash University, David commenced his legal career with Clements Hutchins and Co. Upon being admitted to practice in 1980, David took up a position with renowned criminal lawyer, Brendan Wilkinson. During this time, David appeared as a Junior Counsel in the Russell Street Bombing Trial. This significant trial marked the beginning of David's successful career in criminal law.
In 1984, David established his own criminal law practice in Bank Place, Melbourne. In 2008, the firm moved to its current location at 530 Lonsdale Street, which houses some of Melbourne's leading criminal barristers.
Throughout his career, David has practiced exclusively in criminal law. During this time, David has been involved in many complex trials. David has secured acquittals in numerous major cases that at first glance seem impossible to win. These cases include those involving powerful circumstantial evidence, DNA and confessions.
