• Transfer Pricing:  Acting Solicitor in the High Court decision reported as WR Carpenter Holdings Pty Ltd v Commissioner of Taxation 248 ALR 256. This case dealt with the potential application of the transfer pricing rules to financial transactions;
• Transfer Pricing:  Acting Solicitor in a matter in which dealing with the potential application of the transfer pricing rules to the provision of cross-border services, resulting in a successful settlement outcome;
• Obtaining allowance of objection made against assessment issued to a non-resident trustee;
• Design and implementation of separate mine operations structure, including formulation of a mine operations contract;
• Estate Planning:  Development of estate plan, circumventing the rule against perpetuities;
• Business Acquisitions:  Advisor on acquisition of coal mining tenements in Indonesia by a listed Australian company;
• Business Acquisitions:  Advisor on acquisition of a manufacturing operation in China, and
• Equipment Leasing:  Advising on equipment leasing operations conducted by a bank in Taiwan.
