Fraser holds an LL.B (Hons) from the University of London and accounting qualifications, and is an experienced lawyer having practiced in Australia, New Zealand, and the Cook Islands. Fraser is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and in the High Court of Australia. He is a member of the Queensland Law Society. Additionally, Fraser is an Associate Chartered Accountant with the New Zealand and Australia Institute of Chartered Accountants.
Specialising in civil and criminal litigation, Fraser has a background as a trial lawyer in New Zealand having appeared in many complex civil and criminal cases. In Australia, Fraser has represented clients in a wide range of civil and criminal litigation in both the State and Federal Court, including acting for a large Federal Government Agency. Fraser has a keen interest in defamation, contractual disputes, liquidations/bankruptcy, sports law, and serious fraud offences.
