Having practised exclusively in family law since 2010, Gabriella advises and represents clients in complex parenting disputes, high-net-worth property settlements, international family law matters and cases requiring urgent court intervention.

Legal Career and Judicial Experience
Gabriella began her legal career in the family law team of a prominent Greater Sydney law firm before serving as Legal Associate to the Honourable Justice Watts of the Family Court of Australia.
Her experience within the Court gave her valuable insight into judicial decision-making, the assessment of evidence and the preparation of complex parenting and financial cases.
Gabriella joined Norton Law Group and was appointed Partner – Family Law in 2020.
She is admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. Gabriella holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
Her international academic experience includes studying Chinese Law in Beijing and Human Rights Law at Columbia University in New York, contributing to her understanding of international and cross-border legal issues.

Beyond her legal practice, Gabriella is an internationally published author, speaker, podcast host and family law and relationships commentator.
She is the author of The Collaborative Co-Parent, published internationally by Morgan James Publishing. The book provides separated parents with a practical framework for reducing conflict, improving communication and creating a more sustainable family relationship across two homes.
Gabriella is also the host of Before It Breaks, a podcast examining relationships, conflict, separation, repair and the conversations that can change what happens next.
Her second book, Before It Breaks: A Modern Guide to Love, Conflict, Repair and the Conversations That Change Everything, will be published by Simon & Schuster on 2 March 2027.
