I have practised in workers compensation for the entirety of my career, and service a wide range of insurer clients including GIO, EML, QBE, StateCover, icare and Gallagher Bassett.
My practice includes statutory workers compensation matters, work injury damages matters and section 151Z recoveries. I regularly appear in the Personal Injury Commission, as well as the District Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
I have been involved in a number of key cases in the jurisdiction, including most recently Haddad v The GEO Group Australia Pty Ltd [2024] NSWCA 135 which recently provided clarification from the Court of Appeal in terms of the relevant deemed date of injury for disease claims.
I manage the workers compensation team here at Moray & Agnew in Newcastle. With a team of twelve, we are passionate about servicing our clients to the best of our ability.
