James Allen, Anderson Fredericks Turner
James Allen is a solicitor at Anderson Fredericks Turner based at the Sunshine Coast. He focuses on criminal law and has a special interest in police procedures and investigative methodologies. As a former Police Officer in New South Wales and Policy Advisor in Queensland, James brings significant professional experience to the representation of his clients in every case.
During James’ time as a Policy Advisor he was involved in providing high level advice throughout the legislative process and was responsible for drafting persuasive arguments, analysing proposed legislation and the preparation for parliamentary committees and hearings. James has a special interest in the Crime and Corruption Commission.
James graduated from the University of Southern Queensland with a Bachelor of Laws in 2017. He also holds a Bachelor of Policing degree from Charles Sturt University. He completed his practical legal training with Anderson Fredericks Turner. James was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2017 and has since practised as a solicitor with Anderson Fredericks Turner in Maroochydore.
James also travels to courts throughout the Sunshine Coast area including Noosa, Caboolture, Caloundra, Gympie, as well as to other regional courts such as Kingaroy and Hervey Bay. He also undertakes significant casework in Brisbane in the District and Supreme Courts.
