James Kingston is a senior planning and environment lawyer who provides strategic assistance in relation to planning approvals, compliance and enforcement, environmental planning and protection, local government, biodiversity, and compulsory acquisition. This includes regularly acting for both applicants and consent authorities in the NSW Land and Environment Court, Supreme Court, and Court of Appeal.
James is also a qualified town planner with more than 10 years' experience obtaining planning approvals and assessing a variety of complex projects. James provides planning and development advice, undertakes due diligence assessments, negotiates planning and works in kind agreements, and project manages multidisciplinary teams to deliver and assess good planning outcomes across a broad range of projects.
