James is an Accredited Specialist in Family Law and has practiced almost exclusively in family law since his admission in 2014.
James is a passionate advocate, experienced in hearings before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia and in resolving matters at an early stage. He takes pride in guiding his clients through the difficult process of separation, taking a focused and no-nonsense approach to achieving the best possible outcomes.
James has long experience in dealing with complex property and parenting matters, both in and out of court.
He is also experienced in drafting and advising on Binding Financial Agreements, whether before, during or after a relationship.
James takes the time to understand his clients, their concerns and what they wish to achieve. He understands that separation is one of the most trying periods of anyone’s life and strives to ensure that his clients are fully supported and empowered to move on with their lives.
James is also an avid sports fan. He stays active as a referee in the Balmain Junior Rugby League and sits on the Judiciary Panel of the NSW Rugby League.
