Jen joined the legal profession after working for many years as an Executive Officer in the industrial sector. Her business acumen has been invaluable when assisting clients charged with white-collar offences.
Prior to joining Smith & Tapper Jen worked with the Youth Referral Independent Person Program. In this capacity Jen was frequently requested to attend police stations to assist young people being questioned by police.
Jen approaches her role with a degree of compassion and understanding that is rare amongst the legal profession. Her down to earth nature is shadowed only by her ability to analyze and argue complex legal matters.
Outside the courtroom Jen enjoys a cold beer and a warm hug with her Beagles; Charlie and Pips.
