Being raised in a single-parent family, Joshua has first-hand understanding of the effects of family breakdown. While life is about more than family law, Joshua understands that family law (and its application) can have significant effects on your life and the life of your family.
Joshua graduated from Monash University in early 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws. Since being admitted as a family law solicitor, Joshua has worked as a family lawyer at an inner-city private practice, a Senior Associate at an eastern suburbs firm and as a senior member of a firm based in the heart of Dandenong.
He started DG Family Law as the founding partner in September 2021. Joshua works hard to ensure that our clients are treated like real people, that his solicitors are supported to provide premium legal services and that DG Family Law assists in a way that leads to real, practical outcomes.
Joshua is admitted as a legal practitioner in the High Court of Australia and in the Supreme Court of Victoria. He was also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV), previously serving with the LIV Family Law Working Group with a focus on policy development and outcome management in the Family Law system.
Joshua resides in Ferntree Gully with his wife Anna and their two children – Joy and Sunday. He claims to speak Indonesian, maintains several bee hives and will attempt to run with a pram from time to time in the name of fitness.
