Kasey began her family law career with us back in 2004 and was made a Director in 2013. Originally from Alice Springs, Kasey has made Canberra her home for the past 16 years and is now also branching out into family law in Sydney.
She is pragmatic, thorough, passionate about her work and very protective of her clients. When necessary, Kasey is a fierce litigator, but she also is an advocate for Collaborative Law and tries to reach negotiated outcomes whenever possible. Kasey has particular experience and expertise in complex and large financial cases, and drafting pre-nuptial agreements. She is able to quickly grasp the content of reams of documents to understand and identify the relevant assets and financial circumstances, which is particularly important when her clients do not have a good knowledge of the family’s finances and where companies or trusts are involved.
Since joining twitter, Kasey has had an impressive rise in popularity and now has more than 3000 followers. Her knowledge of social media has also come in very handy in a number of Court cases.
