Lachlan Vallance, HOCW

Lachlan Vallance is a Director and Principal Lawyer who leads HOCW’s Wills & Estates team. An Accredited Specialist in Wills & Estates and Trust & Estate Practitioner, he advises individuals, families, business owners and rural clients across the full spectrum of estate planning, estate administration and succession matters.

Lachlan assists with wills, testamentary trusts, powers of attorney, advance care directives, superannuation and life-insurance arrangements, and business and farm succession planning. He also acts in probate, deceased estate administration, will challenges and claims against estates, including complex matters requiring careful consideration of legal and tax issues.

He is regularly trusted with appointments as an executor, attorney, independent administrator or trustee, including appointments through the Supreme Court of Victoria and matters involving VCAT. Lachlan is known for delivering prompt, sensitive and discreet advice, particularly where clients are navigating complex family circumstances or the loss of a loved one.
