With over 30 years in practice, Louise Date brings a wealth of experience to the practice with her expertise spanning all aspects of private client work including Estate Planning, property and trust matters together with Family Law for which she has been accredited as a specialist since 2011.
Louise’s approach to practice is client focused and aimed at delivering advice and resolutions to complex matters as cost effectively and simply as possible. Whether providing estate planning advice, drafting complex wills and powers of attorney or undertaking litigation in contested wills, superannuation or trust matters, Louise works collaboratively and is highly organised with a concern for attention to detail.
She has received appointments to advise trustees of complex estates and is able to provide advice across matters which overlap between the areas of Estate and Family law given her significant expertise in both areas.
Louise has experience appearing in the Family Court of Australia, the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the Supreme Court and County Courts of Victoria, the Magistrates Court and VCAT. She is thorough in her approach and strategic with her advice and is always working to deliver the best possible outcomes for clients.
Louise is involved in the Wills and Estates planning specialist division of the Law Australasia group.
