Mary was admitted as a Solicitor in 1993 and called to the Bar in 2013. She is an experienced accredited Mediator in Family Law and Workplace disputes. Prior to being called to the Bar, Mary had been Conference Registrar of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for three years, a Family Law solicitor at Legal Aid in Parramatta appearing as the Separate Representative (as ICL was then known) and held a number of senior positions in the public sector. She is an accredited Family Dispute Resolution practitioner, a Chairperson on the Legal Aid Commission’s Family Law and Care and Protection Dispute Resolution Panels, and regularly conducts the Court ordered mediations at the Family Court. Mary serves on the NSW Bar Association ADR Committee and the New Barristers’ Committee.
