Matthew Armota, Archer Lawyers

Matthew Armota is the principal of Archer Lawyers, a boutique Sydney practice.

He brings extensive experience from boutique, national and international law firms, and practises across building and construction, strata and community title, planning and environment, property and development, and litigation and dispute resolution.

He acts for property owners, owners corporations, developers, builders, consultants and contractors, on matters ranging from around $50,000 to over $50 million, and has appeared in the Supreme, District and Local Courts, the Land and Environment Court and NCAT.

His work covers building defects and statutory warranty claims, construction contract, variation and delay disputes, Security of Payment Act claims and adjudications, strata common property and by-law disputes, and planning appeals. Archer acts on both sides of building disputes.

Matthew holds a Bachelor of Laws and is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales.
